SCHOLARS' GREEN PARK - Phase 2

Located directly north of the existing Scholars’ Green Park, Phase 2 is located in downtown Mississauga, Ontario. Phase 2 extends the Park northward to futher integrate the college and community. The design continues the collegial system of intersecting walkways which create a series of outdoor rooms to promote student interaction. The walkways, consisting of smooth concrete and sustainable elements such as porous glass paving and LED lighting, are strategically lit to provide a safe and secure atmosphere for the public. Patio and rest areas are equipped with various seating options, including bistro style tables, hammocks and benches. Amenity and activity areas include table tennis, outdoor exercise equipment, and an informal sports field. The streetscape along Rathburn Road West accommodates rest areas, walkways, street tree planting and the continuation of the bicycle path system from Living Arts Drive to Duke of York Blvd.
