BATHURST-FISHERVILLE MASTER PLAN

STUDIO tla is providing full landscape architecture services for three discrete parcels consisting of mid-rise infill and townhome developments.  Each of the three sites have existing mid-rise rental buildings and are being intensified to include new rental buildings as well as for-sale housing products.  To facilitate approvals the City of Toronto requested an overall block redevelopment master plan to include the introduction of new public and private roads and shared outdoor amenity spaces.  As the single design consultant representing all three clients, STUDIO tla was hired by the development team to produce a block plan, urban design plan and planning justification to support all three applications.  Each of the parcels is in varying stages of approval from ZBA, SPA to building permits.  STUDIO tla continues to work with each client group separately while providing a uniform urban design and planning effort for the neighbourhood as a whole.
